Clare herself is an accredited member of ICON, the UK Institute for Conservation and a Fellow of the IIC, International Institute for Conservation. With 45 years’ experience Clare has built up a specialist knowledge of techniques and conservation problems not only of the Old Masters but also the Major Impressionists, Post Impressionists, Russian avant-garde as well as Modern British Paintings.

Lady Katherine Ferrers, at the age of 14. (4 May 1634 – c. 13 June 1660). Katherine became notorious as a female Highwayman who spread terror across the county of Hertfordshire but died of gunshot wounds received in one of her robberies. The painting is owned by Valance House Museum
